Airing weekdays 10am-3pm, Detention symbolises SYN in a nutshell: it’s presented by new voices from all over Melbourne.

This is radio at its most raw.

Each hour is presented by a different team of kids from schools, TAFEs and community learning centres, who are given the freedom to express themselves however they please. This means on Detention you could hear talk about music, sport, movies, current affairs, food, fashion, travel or anything else that comes to mind. And you’ll hear a variety of cool music, ranging from hip-hop to rock, and dance to punk.
