City Centre

The City Centre is a fantastic program, run by the Education Foundation right here in Melbourne. This program makes the Melbourne CBD a classroom for hundreds of year 9 students each year. These students come from Victorian state secondary schools to spend a week exploring, learning and experiencing all that the city has to offer.

As part of that experience, the students visit SYN to check out our radio studios, and make their own mini-radio show as a group. They learn what it means to be a creator, not a consumer, of media.
